Refund Policy
Editions are delivered instantly, so the sale is final once you have them. Here is exactly what that means, and when I still say yes.
The short version
Editions are digital and arrive instantly, so once you have them the sale is done. Refunds are rare, they’re my decision, and I’ll tell you honestly when the answer is no.
Why there is no 14-day cancellation right
Norwegian and EU consumer law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. Digital content delivered immediately is an exception: the cancellation right doesn’t apply when the seller gets your express consent to begin delivery straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel.
That’s the consent you give by ticking the box before paying. It isn’t a formality and it isn’t buried — the payment form doesn’t open until you tick it, and the version you accepted is recorded against your purchase.
When I will refund
These are the cases where I refund without hesitating:
- The files are missing, broken, or not what the release page described.
- You were charged twice for the same edition.
- Something failed on my side and you never received what you paid for.
When I probably will not
If you bought by mistake and ask quickly, before downloading anything, I’ll usually say yes. Beyond that:
- You’ve had the files for a while and changed your mind.
- You don’t like the music. That’s a real answer, but it isn’t a refund reason.
- You’ve downloaded the edition and are asking weeks later.
How to ask
Email zacksauceofficial@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the release and — if you have it — the Stripe receipt. You’ll get an answer within five working days.
What happens to the edition
If a refund is agreed, the edition leaves your archive and its file access stops. That’s the honest consequence of it: a refunded edition can’t stay downloadable, or the refund wouldn’t mean anything.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking me first, the edition is revoked and the account can be closed. That isn’t spite. A dispute costs real money and takes weeks to resolve, while a message to me takes minutes — so please send the message.
Changes to this policy
This policy is dated, and the date is recorded against every purchase, so you can always see which version applied when you bought.
